Gout is a disease that is caused by one's habits, specifically the dietary choices one makes, that leads to damage to joints, tendons and connective tissue. Excess uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia) leads to uric acid crystals being deposited in and around the joints. This can cause severe damage to the joints, which in turn results in swelling and pain.
How Bentomed Works
The primary ingredient in Bentomed is Gossendorf fango healing clay that comes from a formerly volcanic region in the south east of Austria. The area where it is gathered is privately owned and under legal protection. Bentomed also contains barley and natural herbal essences.
High Binding Capacity
Natural Gossendorf fango healing clay works like a sponge, absorbing uric acid from the foods you've eaten and encouraging them to pass out of the body. In this way, uric acid is prevented from entering the bloodstream and the related joint damage can be avoided.
Gossendorf fango healing clay is made up of very small particles with a very large surface area as well as a great number of tiny canals within – these canals equate to even more surface area. A single gramme of dry healing clay has a specific surface area of over 10 square metres. If Gossendorf fang clay binds with water, the result is a so-called welling up of the clay leading to a further increase in the surface area. In this state, the inner and outer surface amounts to over 500 square meters. The more surface area there is, the more effective the healing clay is at binding to excess fluids and harmful substances.
Selective Ion Exchange: Detoxification while providing the body with nutrients
The unique crystal structure of fango healing clay means that it has a strong tendency to attract specific harmful substances in the body including toxins, biological micro and macro elements, and heavy metals. In an exchange process, positively charge ions like Mg++, Ca++, K+ and Na+ which are present in the crystal structure are taken up by the body. Harmful substances are bound to the healing clay, and essential mineral are left behind. In scientific literature, this effect is known as ion exchange. The harmful substance that have been taken up by the clay – for example excess uric acid – are then passed in the stool.
Barley Delivers a Wealth of Vital Nutrients
