1. Daily skin cleansing and skin care with fangocur
Proper skin care is essential for those who suffer with rosacea. The skin can be stressed both by the external environment and by the internal functioning of the body. If the negative influence is too great, the skin will show the signs. It's important to treat the skin from the outside to allow for long-lasting healing. That's where the Mineral Mask comes in – it's beneficial for the skin in so many ways!
Deep clean the skin with the Mineral Mask from fangocur
You need to both thoroughly and gently clean the skin, and there is no cleansing cream that can do that. Our healing volcanic clay draws out the harmful bacteria, gets rid of sloughed skin and eliminates excess oil. Through increased metabolism and circulation, the natural function of the skin is returned. Healing clay is also anti-microbial (it kills bacteria) so it sterilises damaged the skin. The goal is the elimination of rosacea, and a deep cleansing forms the foundation of this healing process.
Reduce inflammation with the mineral mask from fangocur
Our natural volcanic healing clay in the Mineral Mask contains sulphur, electrolytes and minerals which stop the inflammation processes in skin which is flushed and red due to rosacea. The sulphur is especially important – it's a very effective 100% natural anti-inflammatory. This elimination of swelling helps the body to heal, and is an additional important step in the elimination of rosacea.
Normalise the metabolism of the skin with the Mineral Mask from fangocur
The Mineral Mask normalises the metabolism of the skin while increasing circulation, encouraging the skin to naturally eliminate unwanted build-up of metabolic waste products on the surface. After the skin treatment, what can I do on a daily basis to keep my skin clean?
Initially the skin treatment using the Mineral Mask should be done daily, normally in the evening. After the problem lessens, continue to apply the mask 2 or 3 times a week. To keep the skin clean every day, you need a gentle and effective soap that doesn't further irritate sensitive skin with harsh chemicals. We've developed the Acne Mineral Soap for just this reason – use it in the morning and in the evening (before applying the Mineral Mask). This 100% natural soap is made from our volcanic healing clay and contains no chemical additives. It gently and thoroughly cleans the skin, which is so important in the effective treatment of acne.
What else can be done to improve everyday skin care?
The Mineral Cream N°4 is an ideal complement to the Acne Mineral Mask. It contains our renowned fango healing clay with its unique combination of trace elements and minerals. Through the unique healing effects of this special clay, inflammation is reduced, irritated skin is soothed and future outbreaks of pustules or papules are reduced or prevented entirely. The Mineral Cream can be applied in the morning and evening to clean skin (ideally after washing with the Acne Mineral Soap). It's best to avoid application of any creams or lotions after treating the skin with the Acne Mineral Mask. Nonetheless, if you have the feeling that your skin is uncomfortably dry, feel free to apply the Mineral Cream after using the Mineral Mask.
2. Detoxify the digestive system with fangocur Bentomed
Healthy digestion plays a crucial role in overall health. Improve your digestion through purification of the stomach and intestinal tract using fangocur Bentomed. It detoxifies the digestive system and so reduces the amount of metabolic waste products that have to be processed by and released through the skin.
In the morning and evening, stir one teaspoon of fangocur Bentomed into a glass of water and let it steep for at least 10 minutes and then drink. The effects are greater if you prepare your Bentomed drink the day before. Depending on the severity of the rosacea, you may also want to drink the fine particles of healing clay.
Through use of the Bentomed from fangocur along with the Mineral Mask from fangocur, you help your body to eliminate toxins in the digestive system which would otherwise have to be processes by the skin. The result: more resilient and healthy skin!
3. Proper nutrition
Examine your eating habits:
- Do you often eat very spicy or heavily spiced foods? Do you drink a lot of coffee?
- Do you eat a lot of high-carbohydrate foods (candy, white bread, pastries, etc.)?
- Do you drink too little, or drink mostly sweetened drinks (cola, sweetened juices, etc.) and alcohol?
- Do you eat a lot of animal fats or products which contain low-quality fats (for example excessive butter, fatty and processed meats, bakery items, margarine, cookies, etc.)?
Then improve the way you eat in the following ways:
TIP: Changing the way you eat can be a challenge – you only get the benefits if you're consistent. Take small steps: start by buy better quality food. Try being more conscious of how you eat on certain days of the week and see what works best for you. If you have a bad day, just start again. It should be fun to take better care of yourself.
- Reduce or eliminate very spicy foods. Cut down on the amount of coffee you.
- Reduce or eliminate sweets from the diet. If you feel like you have to have something sweet, eat only high-quality foods (for example make something yourself using only quality ingredients).
- Drink at least 2 litres (a little over 2 quarts) of water every day, and give up the sweetened drinks for freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices.
- Reduce your intake of animal fat, and look for quality (for example ham instead of prepared meat, low calorie cheese instead of butter or margarine).
- Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables (for example eat an apple in the morning, add vegetables and a salad to your lunch menu, try vegetable spread on bread as a delicious snack, etc.).
