If you suffer with atopic dermatitis, you need help you can depend on. That's why we developed this the following fangocur Success Plan. Our strategy includes the fangocur natural remedy – it's a fast and dependable way to treat atopic dermatitis and the itching and eczema, too.
1. Pay special attention to what triggers (i.e. cause or worsens) the skin condition
As someone who suffers with dermatitis, you know that your sensitive skin has a tendency to react to external irritations with itching and/or eczema. It's a very good idea to get an allergy test and find out if you have allergies or sensitivities to particular substances. These reactions may or may not actually cause the skin condition, but any additional strain is certain to slow healing. The allergic reaction can also combine with the dermatitis symptoms, increasing your discomfort.
Possible external triggers:
Body care: You really must find out for yourself what works best for you. In general, showering with lukewarm or even cold water is recommended for people with eczema, and when possible not every day. It's a good idea to use only pH-neutral soaps and/or special shower oil – you'll likely have to get these from your pharmacist. That said, there are also those who find showering and bathing beneficial in resolving the symptoms. Take note of whatever helps you; i.e. eases the itching and helps the eczema to heal. The fangocur Curative Mineral Mask is especially helpful after you've found how to best care for your skin.
Clothing and laundry: Soft and smooth fabrics are generally best – cotton and silk generally do not cause problems. Wash clothes using alternative methods such as Indian wash nuts – something you can likely buy at your local natural foods market. Such alternatives to sometimes harsh or perfumed detergents are usually better tolerated. There are pyjamas especially for babies and small children that help prevent them itching at night, thus allowing the eczema the chance to heal. Finally, you might try cotton gloves, as they can prevent itching and so promote the healing of eczema.
Dust: The common dust mite and its waste products frequently cause allergies, and there's not a lot that can be done to eliminate the problem. It's usually not enough simply to clean your flat or home. It may take some extra effort to really deep-clean, but you should know that any dust in the home can worsen the condition: rugs, wool blankets, curtains, children’s toys, etc. Think of taking care of the dust as part of your healing process.
Smoking: Cigarette smoke is well-known to worsen the symptoms of dermatitis. A household with any members who suffer with dermatitis, atopic dermatitis or eczema should unquestionably be smoke free!
Possible internal triggers:
Diet: Maybe you've already noticed that your skin reacts to certain foods. For example after eating something spicy or "hot", you're skin condition worsens or possibly new patches of itchy skin appear. Those who suffer with dermatitis are especially sensitive to spices, flavour enhancers, foods containing histamine (makes itching worse) and the many so-called allergens such as citrus fruits, chicken eggs, soy, nickel, peanuts, fish, shellfish as well as apples, peaches, cherries, kiwi fruits, nuts (especially hazelnuts), seeds (e.g. sunflower and sesame), celery, corn, herbs, seasonings and various vegetables. Take the time to determine what foods are problematic for you and which foods cause you no problems. There's a wealth of diet and nutrition tips for those with atopic dermatitis – unfortunately there's no proof that any of them actually work. That said, it's never a bad idea to pay attention to and improve your eating habits.
Stress: Stress is not only defined as negative (such as family problems or a bad work environment) – it can also be something good like anticipation of a special event such as a party or sports competition. Stress is also not really recognised as a cause for the skin condition known as atopic dermatitis, thought the connection between stress and the neurotransmitter called histamine is known. In general, it's best for those who suffer with dermatitis to avoid stress where possible. Find an activity that decreases stress and helps you feel good – this might be yoga, autogenic training, reading, going for a walk or whatever brings you some inner peace and calm.
Tip: Take vacations. There are places to go that are especially helpful for problem skin, for example to the sea (especially if the air contains iodine) and the high mountains (at least 1000 metres in the winter and 2000 metres in the summer). There are also fewer allergen in such places. When possible, a long vacation of 4-6 weeks on the sea or in the mountains can do wonders for your skin and help you to be more healthy in general.
2. Use the cooling, soothing, anti-inflammatory fangocur Curative Mineral Mask or the Curative Mineral Mask for Babies – the natural atopic dermatitis and eczema remedy
In the treatment of dermatitis, it's very important to clean and gently care for the skin. As the affected skin is so sensitive, it can be difficult to find a balance between gentle skin care and deep cleansing – both essential in treating the causes of the skin condition. A good treatment should support the healing process.
Deeply cleanse the skin with the Curative Mineral Mask or the Curative Mineral Mask for Babies (made from pure healing clay)
This is a thorough and at the same time gentle cleaning that no soap, lotion or cream can match. The healing volcanic clay contained in the Curative Mineral Mask draws the bacteria, fine dirt particles and excessive oil (sebum) out of the skin – all so important in the treatment of eczema. Through the stimulation of the metabolism and circulation, the affected skin is normalised and the pores function as they should. The healing clay is also anti-microbial and sterilises any open wounds. This quality cleaning forms the basis for not only the lessening/elimination of eczema symptoms but also the overall healing of the dermatitis.
The natural anti-inflammatory – fango healing volcanic clay from fangocur
The contents of the volcanic healing clay such as sulphur, electrolytes and minerals work to limit the inflammation process in the areas affected by atopic dermatitis and related eczema. The redness and swelling is reduced, and the itching is stopped. You've taken one more important step in healing your psoriasis.
Improve the skin's metabolism using the Curative Mineral Mask or the Curative Mineral Mask for Babies
The Curative Mineral Mask from fangocur improves the metabolism of the skin as well as improving circulation. This makes it easier for the skin to rid itself of metabolic by-products and to heal itself. For those who suffer with dermatitis, this can be an intense feeling. Special essential oils have been added to these natural remedies to calm the skin and reduce itching. Once the metabolism of the skin is again in balance, it's easier both to heal and to maintain this healthy state.
Using the Curative Mineral Mask from fangocur
It's best to treat the psoriasis in the evening. Apply the Mineral Mask and allow it to work for 20-30 minutes – the mask will normally dry completely during this time. When you're ready to remove the mask, use warm water to gently was away the volcanic healing clay mask. It's helpful to use a natural sea sponge with fine pores. Following the treatment, avoid applying any oils or lotions – this allows the skin to rebalance itself as the mask continues to work after it is removed. If you notice that your skin is uncomfortably dry, feel free to apply the fangocur Mineral Cream N°5. This very special skin cream contains the same fango healing clay as the mask; it supports the healing process. If you notice itching during the treatment, feel free to remove the mask before the recommended time. You should nonetheless repeat the therapy every day.
Using the all-natural Curative Mineral Mask for Babies from fangocur
The fangocur Curative Mineral Mask for Babies is especially gentle. Apply the fangocur and allow it to work for approximately 10 minutes – this should be done once or twice per day. Following the treatment, do not apply any sort of skin cream or lotion to the area. You'll notice improvement after only a couple days of using the Mineral Mask for Babies, not only in appearance but also in the mood of your baby or small child. Itching is no fun! You should notice a decrease in crying or complaining related to skin irritations, too.
What to do after the therapy – daily skin cleansing
The treatment with the Mineral Mask is initially performed daily. Once the symptoms are gone (or much reduced), continue using the mask 2-3 times per week. For daily skin cleaning, you need an effective soap that has been developed especially for sensitive eczema-prone skin. You should wash morning and night (before applying the mask) using a soap especially developed for sensitive psoriasis-prone skin – the Curative Mineral Soap from fangocur. The all-natural Curative Mineral Soap contains no chemical additives. It's made from our well-known fango healing clay and supports the complete treatment of dermatitis. This special soap helps to keep the skin from becoming dry, in contrast to other soaps or shower gels which tend to draw moisture from the skin. It's important that the skin maintains it's ability to hydrate naturally, protected by its own natural oils. The Curative Mineral soap encourages this natural balance.
What else can be done on a day to day basis to keep the skin healthy?
As the skin of people who suffer with dermatitis or eczema is often very dry, rough and chapped, regular moisturising is important. It's crucial to keep in mind that such skin is extremely sensitive, so the skin cream or lotion used should contain not chemical additives or artificial ingredients as they can further irritate and injure the skin. The fangocur Mineral Cream N°5 thoroughly moisturises the skin. It's quickly absorbed and is effective in killing harmful micro-organisms and reducing inflammation. Irritated skin is quickly soothed. Apply the Mineral Cream N°5 in the morning and evening to clean skin (ideally after washing with the Curative Mineral Soap). The Mineral Cream contains our renowned fango healing clay – it's a great addition to the skin care programme of people who suffer with dermatitis or eczema.
3. Detoxify the digestive system with Bentomed from fangocur
Healthy digestion plays a crucial role in overall health. Improve your digestion through detoxification of the stomach and intestinal tract using the fangocur Bentomed. It cleans and regulates the digestive system and so reduces the amount of metabolic waste products that have to be processed by and released through the skin.
In the morning and evening, stir a teaspoon of fangocur Bentomed into glass of water and let it stand for at least 10 minutes and then drink. The effects are greater if you prepare the Bentomed drink the day before. Depending on the severity of the psoriasis, you may also want to drink the fine particles of healing clay.
Through use of Bentomed from fangocur along with the Curative Mineral Mask from fangocur, you help your body to eliminate toxins in the digestive system which would otherwise have to be processes by the skin. The result: more resilient and healthy skin!
